With the decision in Belmont, CA to ban smoking in condos & apartments, do you think Houston should adopt a similar ban?

An activist group hoping to pressure the Roman Catholic church into dropping its long-standing prohibition on women in the priesthood is planning an ordination ceremony for three women in Boston.

The group known as Roman Catholic Womenpriests says it will hold the ceremony at a Protestant Church in Boston on Sunday.

The group said the three women _ Gloria Carpeneto of Baltimore, Judy Lee of Fort Myers, Fla., and Gabriella Velardi Ward of New York City _ are responding to a call to serve the church.

The Vatican has warned that women taking part in ordination ceremonies will be excommunicated.

I'm not surprised at all at whatever comes out of the hub of one of the most culturally immoral states around. It has to do with a loss of faith centered around the new "American Church" as recreated by leftist politics. This open attack on the essence of Christ's Church founded upon Peter, is to be expected. What's next, Barney Frank for Pope?
