With the decision in Belmont, CA to ban smoking in condos & apartments, do you think Houston should adopt a similar ban?

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)--Fuge isn't just a hot weather event anymore.

This December, LifeWay Christian Resources will debut Fuge Winter Camp at LifeWay Glorieta Conference Center near Santa Fe, N.M.

Fuge Winter Camp is designed to offer a non-summer camp experience that fits neatly into a traditional school holiday schedule. The four camp sessions are slated during the long weekends provided by Martin Luther King Jr. Day and President's Day, as well as during the extended winter break and spring break periods.

"This camp will be a combination of the great worship, relational Bible study opportunities and recreational options that Fuge offers in the summer," said Hal Hill, director of the Glorieta conference center. "But this will all be in a winter environment."

Hill said that campers would have the opportunity to spend their recreation time involved in a variety of winter activities including skiing in nearby Santa Fe, tubing down a snow-covered hill in Glorieta's Western Town or playing paintball in the snow.

"We're in the Rockies, so we do get snow," Hill said, adding that Glorieta also will be equipped with snow-making equipment for the tubing hill. "And from an accommodations standpoint, we're well-equipped to do an event like this."

In addition to the recreation time, the camp will include structured Bible study groups, large-scale praise and worship time and other elements characteristic of Fuge camps. For more information, visit LifeWay.com/conferencecenters.
