With the decision in Belmont, CA to ban smoking in condos & apartments, do you think Houston should adopt a similar ban?

Minnesota Twins center fielder Carlos Gomez will likely miss the rest of this weekend's series in Cleveland after crashing into the padded wall while making a spectacular catch in the first inning Friday night.

"He's sore, but he's feeling a lot better than the trainers thought he would," Minnesota manager Ron Gardenhire said.

Gomez bruised his lower back and tailbone catching a fly ball hit by Ben Francisco. He remained on the ground for several minutes before being placed on a backboard and lifted onto a cart. He was taken to Lutheran Hospital, where tests revealed no serious injuries.

The 22-year-old Gomez was acquired in the trade that sent Johan Santana to the New York Mets on Feb. 2. He is batting .248 with a team-high 21 stolen bases.
